-A very good chapter, barbara.
-I am glad nothing was said to
Katherine and Gabe about Melton.
-You did a good job describing
the game, and I could feel the tension mount.
-Who knew if a trick play was in store,
and then the rains came, but they
managed to pull it off and win.
-Meantime, Angie was trying her
best to keep Katherine's attention
and still trying to keep track of Melton.
-I am glad security is holding him,
and I imagine the next chapter will
have some sparks flying when Melton
is confronted.

Glad to hear your wrist is improving. This was another great, dramatic chapter. I suppose we can't win all the time. Thanks for another good read. And NO SPAGS!

The Melton character seems to be stalking Katherine, on doesn't need a nutcase, or is there another reason for him doing what he's doing? The game went well until the Bears scored 3 points, which broke the deadlock and won the game. Beautifully written Barbara, blessings Roy
Typo : he glanced (in) her direction.

Another week has passed and we are able to read a chapter in this interesting story. Suspense is building up as to what this Melton guy is thinking to do what he is doing.

So glad to hear your wrist is improving. I know people can go crazy over sports. In Indiana I think it's more basketball than football, but they still love football. I'm wondering if Ivory is part of the in-laws' attempt to gain custody. He's caused her some unfavorable attention. He's turning out to be a stalker. Good thing Gabriell didn't know about his being there.
Smooth trip this time. It was interesting to read about all the precautions they had taken for the trip. Excellent characterization. judi

That was the reason Gabriel wasn't told. Thank you for the kind review. Texas it's football all the way.

You're welcome. I'm eager to learn how these things work out--the custody issue, in particular. judi

Hi Barbara, a great continuation to the story. I will admit I don't know much about the game, but it was all well written. So they keep away that Melton is there in the hope that Gabriel won't lose his temper. We'll written. Ulla:)))

I'm wondering how security can hold this man since he hasn't made in moves as yet. It is funny that friends are keeping Katherine and also Gabriel in the dark about Melton Ivory being at the game. I guess they don't want to alarm Katherine and may be afraid Gabriel might do something to jeopardize his job if his temper flares. Nicely written. I enjoyed the close game.

Two great games in this story. The game of life, the football game of closeness. Again, you have done well with this family and built an excellent love store.

I'm not a football fan but this story is not really about football so I may read some more of this. It's well written and I didn't spot any errors. Is it difficult to type with a broken wrist? It seems like it would be. I'm interested in how you handle the conflict in the story so will plan to follow up. Great work.

A football game in the rain, how often does it happen? It's not fun. We do have both outdoor and indoor ones here. Melton Ivory was here to meet Katherine, who wasn't interested in him.

Why do you have a "f" in the end:
Melton Ivory Lawyer and possible new suitor f

Well done.

No clue why it's there. Lucky I guess. I have deleted the extra 'f'. I'm wondering how long it's been there. I haven't touched the character list since I added his name, weeks and weeks ago. Thank you.
