Your poem warms my heart. Christmas is my favorite time of year, hearing carols around that time makes me happy. The font on your poem is bright and makes it hard to read, but it does set a tone. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for your review, I love this time of year. I have darkened the font a little, hopefully easier to read.

Good entry for the 1-6-1 writing prompt contest. Good syllables count. The lines are not connected grammatically so the poem doesn't flow.
What I mean....
sing
carols of joy for loving
King

This is an excellent 1-6-1 poem for the contest
with three very good rhymes and a seasonal topic.
Good choice of picture to match.
Well done.
Best wishes in the contest.

-Nice image and
presentation.
-The syllable count is good,
along with the topic.
-Effective imagery and rhyme
as you describe a Christmas concert.
-Very good opening and closing words, too.
-Good luck in the contest.

Tis the season to be reading Christas poetry and stories. This is a good addition to the contest. Beautiful colors, nice pic, and perfect words for the season. :)

Lovely (and timely) 1-6-1 poem here, mystery writer. I am a fan of the content and the presentation. If I could add one small suggestion, the red on green coloration of this work can make it difficult to read on some screens. If you darken the green just a bit (or alternatively lighten the green and darken the red) it should do the trick. Thank you for sharing - best of luck in the contest.

I liked how your Yuletide poem's main point was our King and Saviour, the true meaning of Christmas, a time of joy when carols are sung. The colouring you chose is appropriately Christmassy.

Thanks for your review. The meaning of Christmas tends to get lost amongst the commercialisation.

Regrettably.
