I think it's a great way to practice our faith no matter what we believe in... like you said ...read about it then apply it to daily life. Such a great idea, like a daily prompt for journaling. Plus, you are putting it out there for us to read, and THAT is an act of courage and bravery in and of itself! We appreciate it, it's inspiring!

Thank you, Jess. What a kind thing to say! It is a great journaling prompt! I'm a childdren's minister, but sometimes I get so far off track. lol I guess we all do, don't we.
anyway, I use Biblegateway quite often, in ocnjunction iwht the plays I write for our ministry an the lessons I teach during the week. I ust the daily verse (reading the full chapter) and those other sources of 'required material'. It's so wonderful to get my ideas down on paper and listen for what God is going to say. I do love it. :)

Oh wow you write plays!? You are my writing hero, I swear! I?m still willing to read the middle grade when it?s ready and if you have any play examples I?d love to read those! I?d love to write them too but I have no reason to, like no way to put it into action, so I put it on the back burner constantly.

Thank you, Jess. I've never been anyone's writing hero before... lol. YOu can actually see us bumble through the plays each week. We post on Facebook.com/SouthsideChurchBrownwood and do one per week for our children's ministry. We're actually filming Thursday morning for next week.

Hi Jan. Thank you! I try to approach subjects logically but... Sometimes I don't quite reach that goal. lol. (And that's why I prefer fiction, although those worlds have to make sense, too...)

Wonderful meditation, Deb!! I like the concept of running and I mostly walk now. Good that you do that - great type of exercise. Although I know this verse well, i like how you personalized that Joy as each of us whom Jesus wanted to rescue and redeem!
