I, too, so enjoyed reading her rambles, and we would message one another on occasion.
She was a memorable friend, and I, too, am saddened to learn of her passing.

Hi Diane, thank you so much. I've thought a lot about her of late, and was saddened when I learned about her passing. We always communicated well, and now she's gone. I will miss her. Ulla:)))

Hi Marival. She was a fanstorian for a lot of years. She was quite a character, always upbeat, but had have a rather troubled life. She was from Seattle but spent her latter part of her life in Mexico. Hence the picture. Ulla:)))

Oh, I was wondering about Sasha the other day, Ulla. I'd always enjoyed her rambles in Mexico about her dentures and her broken bones. How did you find out she had died, though? There was a shady side to her past, as I recall. I hope it was a natural death. Since you mentioned health, it sounds like it was natural.

What a beautiful tribute to Sasha. Even though I went dormant for a few years here at FanStory, I would pop in every so often to read her rambles. No matter how down things appeared, she made it seem like it was all just a scratch. She was fearless and met life head on. I was sorry to hear of her passing, but I hope she is resting comfortable now.

I've been missing our friend Sasha for a while. She loved to write and she was witty as you say and usually it was herself that she like to make jokes about. Fod someone who had a less that perfect life she wore it well and made many friends. I'm sad to learn of he passing. The is nice piece you have written in her honor.

Nice tribute sure she would appreciate. Tough to lose friends. Suppose that is part of life though. Did not know her, but she appears to have had a good sense of humor and could laugh at herself. A skill many do not possess.
