Wonderful poem about the possibilities that abound in poetic experience, which is almost any experience as you point out. One significant attribute that attracts me to poetry is the pictures my mind creates when I read someone's poem. Your poem produces meaningful pictures for me.

This is not only true, it is beautiful! Your last two lines are my favorite, although I enjoyed every line of this contest entry.
Just a gentle suggestion, because your rhyme is so great and 'on beat'...line 6...Search the corners of your mind could be better on the beat if it was ...In corners of your mind...or just take out 'the.'
This is a real contender for the contest I think! Good luck!
