She was a fan and a good friend. We had many private conversations. It is with great sadness I find this news. I thought she had only took a break. I was myself away so would not have known. I particularly liked her Mexican rants, as she would put it.

Yes, I was very sad to hear about her passing. I did enjoy her rambles and looked for her name in my messages every day. I have continued to watch for it even after she left.
She did lead an interesting life in Mexico, and shared it with us almost daily. I miss her. Nancy:)

Roy Owens has confirmed she did come to Christ, which is wonderful. Sorry I have not been by for a while old mate. A lot of stress and stuff going on.

Great idea to start a book for Sasha. I remember her Smurphie Rambles well, as they were always entertaining, even though often involving very painful, true-life events.

Despite all her maladies and earlier abuse, she was remained friendly, engaged and upbeat right to the end.

She will truly be missed on this site.

Thanks Gloria you are so right about Sasha. I was talking to her pretty well to the end via her Mexican carers. Only today I finally used Google Translate to talk to her lady carer.

it's been a moment mate. So sad to hear of Sasha's passing. Reviewed a lot of her writing back when I was active here.

Yes, Sasha had and lead a very interesting life full of various experiences, not always good or easy to hear. Always brutally honest and usually told it how is, and was.

I will definitely go in and read 'The Dandelions'.

Hadn't heard from you for a while. I was aware that Sasha's vision was deteriorating and hadn't seen any of her writing for quite some time. This is the first I had heard of her passing. I thought it was unusual that she chose to live in Mexico, but she seemed very fond of the people she knew there. It's wonderful that she had people to care for her after she because too ill to care for herself. Thanks for letting us know this sad news. judi

I was great friends with friends with Sasha, I will write a tribute to her later Geoff, she was born in 1945, so she'd be around 76, she was an evangelical success, she shared with me, that she'd been on her knees to the Lord, asking for forgiveness on night, so she's basking in the Lord's presence as I write, thanks for sharing, I was aware from another Fanstorian of her sad passing, thanks Bro, blessings Roy

Once they are not using it for a while you have to put her name (Sasha) in the search as I described. It is there.
