Touching tribute--the third I've read--a fine addition to the compilation. I didn't have the honor of knowing Sasha--I'm glad her account remains open--does she have the "eternal flame" feature?

Elizabeth, Thanks for coming by. I am not sure. Maybe the account is still current. We have to see if someone wants to pay for the Eternal Flame for her.

Thank you for the lovely tribute and invite. Sadly, I barely knew her as she was posting every now and then when I joined on. How sweet you are and kind to see she's not forgotten. Many here remember her fondly.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sal xoxo

Geoff,
NOOOOOOO!!!!! No, no, nooooo. Oh, my stars. We keep losing folks and I want this to STOP.
The sad truth of the matter is I can't do a solid thing to fix it. I am so sad. I had been wondering about her - but see? Like Mrs. Victoria just showed up again yesterday - I've stayed optimistic. You know?
Fiddle!!!
Well, my dear friend, I really appreciate your letting us know. Hugs to you. If you can pass them on to her family, please do. Thank you!!!

Robyn if you read her book you will see how her family blamed her for the abuse she endured through her life and from supposedly people who should have loved her. We were her family as was her adopted city of Maslatan(hope I got that right)in Mexico. I am so glad her account is still, as we speak, open. I messed up on the URL but you should be able to figure it out. I have kept in touch with Sasha and her Mexican carers till her passing. I even achieved translation of Veronica's Spanish thanks to Google translate. I am pleased to say dear Sasha is now with the Lord in Glory. Being loved like she never was by her family. We all loved her, though. Please contribute to the book I now know how to set multi-author up, thank goodness.

Thanks again, Geoffrey, for drawing this to our attention. I used to read and review Sasha's writing from time to time and will give her book a look if it's still available.

Tony hope you can find it. Her account is still open here on Fs as well. I messed on the URL but you should be able to figure it out. Another favourite writer with Michael Cahill, Dean Kuch, Phyllis Stewart and even more gone from us.

Clearly, we are a dying breed.
-
URL to Sasha in my Author notes, is now fixed. Yay!

Thank you for this wonderful tribute to Sasha. I honestly don't know if I have ever read any of her writings or not. I will try to remedy that fact as soon as possible. I'm not a Bible Thumper but I do believe in God. My father said one doesn't need to go to church to believe in God. He didn't care for organized religion and I adopted his thinking. Very nicely written. I enjoyed reading this.

Hi pretty. I totally agree. Religion does not save and neither does going to church. Sasha called out to the Lord in her last days. Due to all she went through from her father and family, in her life, she tended to blame God a lot. Thanks for the lovely review.

Having been a member of FanStory for less than a year, I don't think I've ever encountered Sasha, but it sounds like I've missed out on some good writing. I will have a look at her portfolio. My condolences for your loss and obviously those of many other members.

-I appreciate you starting the book,
and writing this heartfelt tribute, Sankey.
-I did not know Sasha well enough
to contribute, but I am reviewing
those who are sharing about her.
-You do a good job of writing
about her life without going
into deeper personal issues.
-I think she would like that, too.
-I do remember her writing about
her eyes and how she was probably
going to have to give up her writing.
-I also remember her unusual profile pic, too.

Thanks for coming by, Pam. The response to my tribute book has been fabulous. I have kept in touch with Sasha as best we could and it was only through her Mexican carers I learned of her passing the other day.
-
You are very welcome, and I am glad the book is doing well.

I read Roy's poem of farewell before I saw your post Geoff. I do remember reading Sasha's writing from time to time. She had great charisma.
God bless her soul. May she rest in peace.
Stay safe and blessed

Julia, I am pleased to say she is certainly in more peace now than she was for so many years, even as she maintained such a peaceful out look to all who came in contact with her. I miss her great Smurphies and so on. Thanks for coming by.

Oh, Geoff, has Sasha died!! I'm so sorry to learn that. I liked her a lot. I followed her since the beginning of me being on FS. She had a great sense of humour. I will definitely add to this book. How did you get to know she'd passed away? All best. Ulla:)))

Ulla I was in touch with her and her carers through Facebook for some time. Veronica whom Sasha chose to move in with and her husband informed me of her passing. Thanks for the response.
-
Yes, I remember she moved in with them. I've often thought about her. She was such a ray of light, if that makes sense.
-
Ulla, also considering all she went through from her family over the years, it was particularly remarkable the great person she was.
-
It was. I really liked her, and she always made me laugh. I have just added to the book. I hope more will, as well. She deserves it. Ulla:)))

Thanks

Sasha had been on my mind the past few weeks. I prayed, but didn't know why. Yesterday, I found out why. Sasha was a good friend and I enjoyed reading her work.
