What a gracious and glorious write! I was in the hospital and so my own family delayed thanksgiving...actually I think we're going to roll it into Christmas. Still, how kind of you to express such warm feelings and wishes! My uncle resides in Canada and boasts every year he gets to celebrate at home in Ontario and down here with all of us! Doubel the pleasure!

You are so very welcome Karenina, I am so glad you are with your family now, not in the hospital nor rehab. Yeaaa for your uncle. (smile)

As we don't celebrate Thanksgiving but it looks a lot like Christmas?? I think I asked you once before what the meaning was. You gave me a lovely explanation. Anyway you and your fellow USA enjoy. Sincerely Anne

Thank you so much for reviewing Anne and your great comments. First of all, the Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, the second Monday after two full weekends rather than the USA Thanksgiving which is the last Thursday of the month. Now that in itself is confusing, lol. The whole idea was that there was a whole shipload of Pilgrims who landed at Plymouth Rock and were helped out by the Native American Indians and thus made the idea of Thanksgiving between the two. That is it in a nutshell.

Alie,

Thanks, my friend! You are awfully kind and sensitive. I appreciate those generous wishes. Out of curiosity, what do Canadians eat for their Thanksgiving Day meal?

AND did you know Evil Eddie added his strange marks to the end of your last sentence? Thanks, pal! Happy trails and yummy food to you, too!

Thank you so much Robyn, lol, we have the same things as the USA except for collard greens in the south, there we have if we chose mustard greens or turnip greens instead.

Blessings to you, Jim, and Tabitha, aryr. Thank you for your sweet post. I enjoyed reading it. I know Canada celebrates on a different day for its Thanksgiving. All in all though, we have much to be thankful for every day.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you so much Jan and Happy Thanksgiving. Us Canadians celebrate on Columbus Day, then with Halloween coming later in the month we have a great long break until Christmas. You are absolutely correct we do have a great deal to be thankful for. Alie.
