This is a great little story. I really enoyed reading it. At first, I thought it was biographical, but quickly realized it was written for a male prespective but you did make it seem very real. Good luck in the contest. It sounds like a winner to me.

That's an interesting story. It starts with a typical family with a happily married couple for parents. But suddenly, there was another child to raise and a brother for the narrator. It gave the narrator a non-judgmental atmosphere for the college-aged narrator to raise his own child.
