Actually, I have been married three times. I guess third time is charm. I am my husband's fourth wife. We have been married 38 years. He is my Best. Thanks for the stars and comments. Blessings. Cindy

I am his 4th wife and he is my 3rd husband. We have two grown children and three grand boys after 38 years. That is one of the things we say to each other. He is my best friend. Blessings. Cindy

Suggestion: You should be You're (as in: 'You are')

In a word count program it would be one word; that's why a lot of flash fiction has contractions, to save words.

I'm sure it will be fine. After all, the word "it's" is counted as one word but it is actually a contraction of 2 words.

I liked your poem. It is very hard to get your point or message across with only eight words. You did an excellent job with your eight words. It brought a smile just reading those words. Not sure if you meant it as a compliment to this husband or tongue in cheek. Either way it worked.
