Thanks, you raise a good point I had not considered. This is one of the problems with a full third of my writing being jokes about Harambe, and everything I write is a contest entry of some sort. Perhaps I can try something more subtle like "guerrilla attack ad"?

Sally, thank you for your thoughtful message and kind review despite your great observation and concern. You raise a fair point of virtue.

Yeah I am upset - actually furious - at the President for leaving millions of Afghani girls to be raped and imprisoned after two of my brothers and some of my friends served there under his policies. This is my opinion and of course not everyone shares it. I also think the President has forfeited the respect due his office by committing this atrocity, certainly contributed to by previous leaders, but taken it to a further level. Mocking is not enough; it would be Old Testament justice for him to suffer this same atrocity upon himself. Maybe he has in some sense, with the death of his first wife and two of his kids, and historically he has used those cards for political gain, but fair play.

This entry is also not primarily directed at Biden, who I now call Taliban Joe, not Brandon. I wrote six 5-7-5s this morning, most of them ridiculous and not even thinking about Brandon/Biden until my phone tried to autocorrect it at the end, and I then picked the most compatible ones. Biden is just one among many dictators justifying the rape of innocents, deifying themselves for absolution, and then blowing up more innocent people in "revenge". I am not a fan of personally directed crass language or the thinly veiled "Brandon" meme, primarily because it dehumanizes, and secondly because it is too easy. Although, Biden has made a political career of ridiculing those NOT in power. E.g. he insinuated that the truck driver in the accident where his wife died was drunk (he was not). I do admit to enjoying the public ridicule of those who deny others their status as divine image-bearers, certainly including myself, and why not? I think there is some biblical precedent for it. It can also turn into a quest for revenge, which can both raise and also misdirect a lot of energy.

I welcome your thoughts on a better path, while I drink a banana beer. Kool-Aid has a lot of sugar.

Biden is all that. Unfortunately, he sits in the Oval office issuing mandates. The unspeakable crimes in Afghanistan are still going yet the press has moved on. Who puts their trust in the Taliban? Not trustworthy. Sickening! Bless ya for caring,
