Ouch! I have a feeling that girl is gonna be used for more than her lovely body. These guys are not folks to be toyed with - too bad she'll probably find that out the hardest way possible.

Hi Carol, so I'm quicly catching up. I will admit, I have some difficulty keeping up with your writing as you post so often, In truth there are so many other writers I have to read. I only go on FS for a few hours in the evening. My days are so full of so much else, among it being to look after my land. Ulla:)))

I fully understand. Having five troubled grandchildren in my house is more than problematic. I think I age a year every day. I usually write in the wee hours of the morning, but this weekend I was blessed with free time. Writing is what is keeping me sane. We all can only try to do our best. Appreciate the review.

There's lots of interesting action in this episode, but I think I'm a little mixed up. I went over my confusing part a couple of times but couldn't figure it out. Is Tiffany the makeup artist who slept with Charles? Derek called her Jaz. Who is who? Maybe I'll understand in the next chapter.
I have a suggestion on sentence structure. Your sentence sounds like Sam was startled on her arm.
Deep in thought, the touch of Emmy's hand startled her on her arm and Hank's voice as he asked, "Everything okay?"
Suggestion:
Deep in thought the touch of Emmy's hand on her arm and Hank's voice startled Sam as he asked, "Everything okay?"

I am 172 reviews behind, and I feel terrible about it. I find myself feeling safer dealing with my murderous characters than dealing with my family. I hope everyone understands that I appreciate them very much, but I simply am struggling to keep my head above water. Each person deserves a big thank you for their time and effort... You might also want to check about this: How could James never have met his sister? You have Charles observing an anxious James in the study, then James is entering the study and concerned about Charles's distraction.

There are sub-plots and things are getting more complicated. I really wonder how you are able to keep track of the sequences and untie the knots. The characters have come out alive in this episode. Well done!
