So desparate a sorrowful heart as was the heart of Jesus. There's only one life to live, no matter how crazy, we have the time and means to improve our lives till the end of our time here on earth. No need to put an end to the only life you have before it's time. You definitely show the pain you deal with everyday. I hope you find some living solace to put a smile back on your face.

The idea for this came from one of the many card sent to me after the death of Jason.
These cards where religious and place Jason and to a very special group of clubs.

This is a great poem Ricky. Jesus is the only one we should run to. I don't think he was resurrected twice. Love the truth in this poem. Wish you the best in your future writing.

Typical of Ricky and his recapitulation tendencies, the work reminisces the life and times of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It highlights the dynamics of the messianic mission taken from its concluding part on the cross through his childhood moments on a manger and obliquely manoeuvred to the cross, where the Lord said, "it is finished". It as well seeming alludes to the last message Archbishop Benson Idahosa preached before his demise entitled, " The Benefit of Dying."
The work earns its texture through the effective use of staccatos, oxymorons, metaphors, similes and alliterations.
