So glad Chuck is OK. I'm praying for Lauren for a quick recovery. It's obvious that there is still a lot of controversy surrounding this vaccine. I think anytime you let fear become the determining factor in making a decision, you've given up common sense. I had a vaccine for covid- one shot, the J&J, only because of the paranoia surrounding the whole mess and I didn't want to get stuck in Liberalville while I was fishing. How many more shots or boosters or mask mandates are we going to put up with? Basically the country as we knew it is gone. When is enough enough? If the government was so wise in all of this mandate crap, we would have a cure by now. It hasn't happened. Lets get a life. Well done Liz, as always.

I hope your daughter is doing ok. There are so many phobias around this virus and most don't make sense to be. My husband and I were both vaccinated but I came down with breakthrough covid. I know in my heart as sick as I was, I would've died if not for the vaccinations. I've now had my booster.

I'm glad Chuck got his vaccination to protect his brother, something many anti-vaxxers don't understand. But it took actually being in contact with someone close to him who wasn't vaccinated and got the virus to completely convince him he'd done the right thing. I often wonder why more anti-vaxxers don't seem to be hit with this reality.

I get such a kick out of how people dream up symptoms in their heads and remember things that never really happen. But they are very common fabrications, and ones they truly come to believe. I've gotten two shots and a booster, and had no fever, sore arm, or any other symptoms. Which makes me roll my eyes whenever I hear all the cry baby antics. LOL. I'm just teasing YOU. Hope Lauren is starting to feel better. Thanks for sharing.

As you chronicle in this post, covid-19 has become the talking point for most of the conversations in the country. Whether it's between friends or others, it seems to dominate the landscape. Unfortunately, it has the power to create hard feelings between people.
