Fall is a beautiful season, often surrounded with celebrations like Thanksgiving and pilgrimages. Can't wait to eat turkey on Thanksgiving. It is also beautiful as you write:
"Pretty leaves drift down"
I glanced through my window this afternoon and saw my yard all decorated with dry brown and yellow leaves. It was awesome scenario. Thanks for writing and sharing.

I love the sight of the leaves falling - except, this year I was stuck raking my neighbor's yard, too. haha. It was a pain, and we had about twenty bags of leaves to recycle. Still very beautiful. Thanks for this one.
