When I read your travels Ali I think straight away to the old cowboy movies we kids used to see on Saturday afternoons. Then for the rest of the week, we Rode 'em, an roped em and we had ranches with wonderful cowboy names, Ah, to be a kid again. Great visuals, I loved this. Anne

Alie,

Wow. What a crazy nomadic life you two (three) lead. hahahaha I absolutely cannot imagine that! I am positive that would NOT be the life for me. Though I would definitely like the sights and sounds and new experiences - I am so tied to my home and family - I'd go crazy! hahaha I'm thrilled that you enjoy it. Thanks!

Thank you so much Robyn for reviewing and your great comments. It is ironic that long ago, before I met Jim, my nomadic life was based on the fact that I had Native blood which caused me to follow the herd. Somewhere I think I lost the herd, lol.
reply by robyn corum on 09-Nov-2021
    Haha. Also.
You HAVE Native blood. Unless you have lost that too.

Don*t you know all those Native American wives were so grateful there was no keys or wallets yet??!!

LOL, I never thought of it that way.

Thank you so much Chris for reviewing. Wow, snakes are nasty! Let's see we gave up our sticks and bricks home in 2013 and hit the road, we have been almost all over the USA. Tabitha, the cat, just goes with the flow. She does know the signs that we are going lol, especially when I clean the counter the night before. Again thanks.

I love love to visit the Badlands. My mother had been years ago, and we always planned to go together, but, alas, time and health issues knocked us out of that. Thanks for another great trip.

I presume with the name Tabitha, that she is a cat, she must be happy with your travelling, cats are not usually good travellers, but we did have at least one good travelling cat. Love your travels, we were avid caravaners once, well done,Helene, blessings Roy

I was sad to hear about your going back to South Dakota after you headed west to MT but then you ended with Medford! It's still 535 miles away but it's nice to think of you being closer, even if we don't get to meet in person.
Enjoyed your travel notes and sad to hear about the restaurant closure - I liked the way you put it, "closed as in wood on the windows." That's really closed!

Hi Aryr,
well... I've come into your journey and travels a tad down the track... but enjoyed reading your moments and adventures in this chapter.

Maybe add a hyphen to RVer's?

Anyway, sounds like you have a great time traveling around your beautiful country... me, I've only witnessed it from afar, either on movies, TV etc... but I guess the next best thing is living through the eyes of someone who is doing, seeing and experiencing such magic.

Enjoyed the read... I'll have to catch up on some of the other chapters.

With our thoughts we create...

Kind regards,
James.

Thank you James for reading, reviewing and your great comments. I am guessing that readers either like the hyphen or not, since I have been suggested both, for now it will be without, lol.
reply by Jumbo J on 08-Nov-2021
Firstly, My pleasure Aryr... and... to hyphen or not to hyphen, no matter, if you're happy with the end product.
    kind regards,
    James.

Not a problem James, do you mind if I friend/fan you?
reply by Jumbo J on 08-Nov-2021
That would be great Aryr. I have just come back to FS after a few years away and as yet have not posted anything new. Thank you for your hand in friendship... most appreciated.

I think you could write a book about all your travels as you have been to so many wonderful places, always on the road and enjoying yourself and bringing your stories to us, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Thank you so much for reviewing and your great comments. I will hold off on the book until the road no longer invites me but I love the idea.

Wow, I lived in Montana for nine years as a young'un and this was so familiar to me. There are so many places to go and things to do and people to meet. I missed it when we moved back to Oregon. You write very well and have shown us a story in words. I recall going to Sturgis and being dizzy from all the bikers! Thank you for a memorable journey - I loved it...We lived in Kalispell.

That is fantastic Sherry, we have been on the road since I retired in 2013, we have been to the northern part of Virginia, the lower part of Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Arizona. The middle states and the east coast have all been in our travels. I love that I was able to create memories for you.
