I like your poem. I can imagine how stunning and mesmerizing a child would find the moon, especially the first time seeing it. This is a charming poem.

It's about a real child moongazing in natural way but it's also about nature.

I suppose one can look upon a new moon as being a young moon, and being in awe of its own splendour, I certainly do, and when it becomes, in appearance, so massive, it dominates the skyscape, beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy
