The clerks ,both in the movie and in real life were stupid. They should know that the privacy of the client is to be respected. They had no business to call out loudly and I think they might have done it for mischief.had a good chuckle

We all need to protect our ears theses days. Since we can't even sit down to lunch without the F word blaring all over the restaurant. I'm no angel and my mouth can be bad too, but not with children all around and three sisters 5 foot away. People just have no respect for anyone anymore. Thanks for sharing.

Oh Lord Liz,
I'm reminded of a scripture that says-be sure, your sin will find you out. How totally humiliating for Chuck. Really, don't we all have skeletons in the closet or dirty little secrets that we want to remain secret? I've mentioned before, if my life were played on a video screen for the whole world to see, it would probably receive at the very least, an "R' rating, and I'm being generous. As those in advertising know, sex sells. Thanks for sharing this hilarious post. You always come through with something to make me laugh.
Blessings
Tom

This well-written little story reminds us that no matter how hard we might try to be discrete, there's a good chance we'll be called out anyway. I used to watch all the Woody Allen movies, my husband's favourite, but I can't remember much about any of them now. Maybe I'll look for that one to view again. Thanks for another chuckle, Liz.

Some people have no tact and others simply don't care about anyone's privacy. Interesting story with humor. You always do so well with these short little blurbs.

Hugs, Carol

Every time I read one of your posts it reminds me of some similar incident I've experienced in my own life. However, this story, though humorous, draws a blank. I can only imagine the embarrassment of both Woody and Chuck. I was sorry to see 'Block Busters' close.

A funny story. I remember the Woody Allen movie. This is posted general flash fiction, but clearly non fiction and most likely non flashing as well. But poor John, he may not have been flashing but trying to slink out as small as possible. Good job.

Liz,

hahahahaha! I'm sure he called it out loud enough so that every single child would say what is Babes in Bondage, Mom? Is it the sequel to Bambi?? hahahahahaha!!!

Thanks!

Oh My!! I am sure there were some interesting looks. How could there not be? While teaching we had some interesting videos come to school that children wanted to share. I'm sure they didn't know what they were doing, or at least I want to believe they didn't.

I can relate to this story not that I have had a similar situation but have always been concerned about buying any magazines or the like in case I met someone who knew me would think that I was a pervert for reading such things. so I enjoyed reading this story thanks for sharing. Kooky.
