When we clap we are demonstrating our approval of something or our desire to celebrate something or someone. In this case, you invite us to recognize and celebrate our Lord. A good subject for a poem.

Great exhortation, Patricia! It's just like the psalmist tells us to do to praise the Lord and remember all that He has already done for us. That grows our faith. Thanks for sharing!
Blessed Christmastide to you and yours!

Patricia,
It seems we need to draw closer to God and each other more and more these days with all the violence and discord among us. He has give us freedom and happy families. Though COVID is not something to clap about. But that most probably wasn't brought by God.
Keep writing and stay healthy

This is a wonderfully uplifting posting, Patricia. It is a super thing to be excited about the many blessings given to us each day. Even in dark moments, we can think about them and smile. xo

Lovely presentation. Beautiful flow with your lines. Your thought about praising God for all the wonderful things in our lives is excellent. We're quick to turn to Him in prayer when things go wrong, but the blessings should be acknowledged too. Well stated. judi

My heart relates to your poem. Reading you poem my heart sings with praise for Our Lord. I am so grateful for all I have in my life, and He is the reason for my good fortune. Great poem.

This is an interesting poem with a hopeful message. I really enjoyed it and the suggestion of remembering all He's done for us. I've only been here almost a year and am trying to discover if what I write is liked and correctly done. You might want to change the last word in the poem.
