Hello Yvonne.

After reading the story, it seems to me that you both came out on the best end of that deal. The Kitty got a great home that she can feel safe in, and you got another Kitty.

You are true cat lover. I envy you. I wantn animal and if I was younger I would definitely get one. This kitty sounds delightful. She was lucky to have ended up on your porch.

The picture was great as you wrote of your first meeting with Dilly, damommy. It was fantastic that you cared for kittens and cats of all sizes. The fact that you searched for her was amazing. I am sure that all of your furry friends love you as much as you love them. Great job and very much enjoyed.

Good for you, Yvonne. I would have done the same thing. I love calico cats, but I have not seen one in our area at all. Strange when you think about it. She is a beauty! Nancy:)

Oh how sweet! I love that Yoda became her "cat-nanny" and Dilly was such a little kitty that Yoda's maternal instincts just kicked in. Thanks for sharing this sweet story!
One word missing:
She [is?] very cuddly and loving,

I truly enjoyed this lovely, vividly descriptive piece. It has made me smile with its heartwarming tone and message about the scared, drenched little kitty that soon claimed hearts!

Hello Yvonne,
She's a cutie for sure. You do love your cats. I'm glad. I think it takes people with an extra measure of patience to have them and love on them and tolerate the times when they want to exercise their independence.
Well done gal.
Blessings
Tom

Thank you, Tom. Mine don't show the aloofness and independence people speak of. They are all lap cats and are with me every minute. Sometimes, it gets to be a bit much, but I wouldn't trade one of them for anything!

Thank you, Dolly. They all get along very well. It's surprising since they all came at different times and were complete strangers. Everyone sort of "moves over" for the new kid. lol.

What a precious little kitty Dilly is, Yvonne. I loved reading your heart warming little story. I'm thrilled she made it to your home--not all would have gone the extra mile to do for her as you did. I'm happy, too, that she survived and has given you love. I love her name. The picture is adorable.
I agree. Rescues know they are getting a second chance.
Thanks for sharing,
Respectfully, Jan

This cuddly kitten is adorable! I can see why you named her Dilly she is a dilly of a sweet kitten! I can tell by the picture that she was loved by all, other cats can be difficult with new ones in the house...they both have to share your affection but from the look of it she was loved by all! Yoda is such a fun name for your orange tabby!
I will bet he and she really ran the house!
Have a beautiful day,
Jesse

Yoda was the nanny to everyone. He had a heart as big as the house. I wish people could be like him. Thanks, Jesse.
