This is a very cute poem and I like all the specific details about your cat, keeps the poem fun. I'd try and use some more descriptive words to really create a mental picture of all your cat's crazy antics. Keep up the good work!

I like cats, but for all the reasons you mention, plus the fact that my wife has asthma, we don't have one. They can be good company when they want to be, but they are so independent and fussy. Just having them under my feet is reason enough not to own one. Good luck in the contest.
