What a beautifully written nonet; your syllable count is perfection. The overall presentation appeals to the eyes. What impressed me the most was the imagery you created. I also enjoyed your carefully thought out choice of wording and thought they were powerful yet subtle.
Such beauty in this one.

This is exquisitely composed. The tone comes through even in the economy of words... your Nonet count is spot on... Center alignment works so very well for this subject matter. Your theme is timely, as Fall begins to turn ever so slowly to the beginning monologue of winter.
Absolutely has my vote!

I love this composition it's so delicate and the embroidery of life comes from every angle: "the last lonely summer rose sheds her
red petals waiting patiently
for a snowy white blanket
to snug her down for a
restful winter sleep
until March sun
awakens
her young
bud." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Dear Mystery Poet,
This is a delightful nonet about roses - but it's deeper than that. It feels more like a subtle message for the readers, as well. We all go through those cold times that shred us and knock us down. But that only means that warmer, brighter, better days are coming. We will rebloom - like new roses!
Thanks and good luck!
