This is a great commentary on what is going on right now. We lived in a world where it is not acceptable to think for yourself. And you are right, big Pharma does control a lot of our media. I don't watch news much since I am not trusting of the media that is controlled by the government. I pray we will wake up before it is too late.

You certainly picked a timely subject. I don't think it's right that people are fired from their jobs if they don't get the vaccine. People are being pitted against one another, and the government is not helping. I understand the reason for speeding up the approval of the vaccines, as the situation was pretty critical at the time. It's so interesting to get the perspectives of people from another country. You did an excellent job with your presentation. Very focused and well researched. judi

Love the photo and like the story. The influence of Pharmaceutical companies on government decision making is clear across most of the world. hmmm! Laura, truly this vaccine thing scares me. I had got the first two doses of Moderna and what I hear about it now, I don't think if there's a booster dose I'll go in for it. I read about the immorality behind it and how it works but on one's cells instead of the immune system and I was like regretted it. Anyway, I'm fine now and just praying nothing happens later. Everyone must think twice as you rightly say,
"Some people think that those that don't want the jab are ignorant. That is not the case! Many people believe everything the media says. For instance, "we must follow the science!" That is strange because scientists and expert epidemiologists against this vaccine have been fired in Canada for speaking up." Thanks for writing and sharing my dear. What bothers me is they don't tell us all the possible side effects. Since I work in health care, my 'choice' was to get vaccinated or not work. Fortunately I had no ill effects. My brother, who is retired, had the vaccine and lost all interest in food. Neither of us knew about that possibility, and I don't think he'd have taken it had he known. Yes, his doctor told him it was a side effect of the vaccine, and nobody knows how long it will last.

I had to double check to see if I was writing this commentary. Nah, It's you! My wife say the very same, as I get too involved with the government sponsored, big Pharma funded propaganda.
I just had my second jab here in Oz, where everything is locked down, locked up and locked in to the jab. If you're not doubled jabbed, no restaurants, no theatre, no clubs or hotels etc... pretty much everything the government deems of power... and then you have our different Premiers of our individual states locking out people from just over the border who have never had a case in their area.
It's a dogs-dinner!
My choice was not to get vaccinated at first, but my wife was very nervous from the not-stop media tirade, and she is also immune compromised... so I bit the bullet. But then I found out without being double vaccinated, I may never be able to visit my father in aged care again, and I haven't seen him for over seven months now. He has alzheimer's and probably won't recognise me when I do eventually get permission to cross the border( which is only a couple of hour from where I live in NSW.)
Me, I'm like you, why are people so scare of those unvaccinated if you may be vaccinated? Well, that was until recently when a writer on site who is double vaxxed contracted the virus from her daughter who was not vaccinated.
No matter, this piece has thrown the cats in among the pigeons. BTW, I haven't had any kind of flu or cold in twenty years or so. I can't understand why everyone needs to be tested? One would think if you were sick you may get tested... but no, everyone must get tested... and it's the very same, if when Queensland opens up to NSW, I'll need to have to, not only be double vaxxed, but also I will have to have a covid test to prove I don't have it before waiting at the border for hours so I may pass 'go'.
'Control' is out of control... sad, yet true. What democracy?

I understand why you got the jab, its terrible to say but I am glad my Mom is gone, or I would have had the same dilemma. I went to a Freedom rally today in North bay On Canada.
