Six stars for the exceptional "good" emotions in your story but also for the "push through" effort you have demonstrated throughout your ordeal with your wrist. I am thrilled you have been able to continue writing because Gabriel is a very patient man with Katherine, but we can only expect so much even from a "reformed" saint. LOL Loved it!

Smooth flowing chapter. I liked the dancing sessions. I admire the fact that Kate is a conservative person and Gabe respects that.Their love story is beautifully blooming .

I think that even a blind man can see that this couple belongs together. I have no doubt that this family will be a near perfect union. Both adults appear to have the tools to handle the problems that the kids might have.
Of even greater importance, it is absolutely clear that both Gabriel and Katherine love those boys completely.

More than any other story you've written, Barbara (and I've read a bunch of 'em over the last ten years), you have captured more of the warmth of the characters and their wholesome deep caring for each other. than any other book. I think this accounts for your fanship wit your Football novel.
He remembered to ask if it was all right to touch her. [Things must really have changed from the 50s. I never asked a girl if I could touch her. And if I did she would probably have slapped me. As far as slow-dancing is concerned, I always thought touching was a given.]

Your wrist will heal in time. You have spun this story into a good book for anyone to read. Amazing how you have brought these two losers into being winners with each other. The boys are on the sideline cheering everything on. I am not up with modern-day school activities, but you make it sound right.

It's been quite an ordeal with your wrist. I hope you're seeing improvement. I admire you for writing through it all. A great chapter. We see that Katherine and Gabriel are getting closer. I doubt if Jordan needs to worry too much about the dancing. The kids just seem to do their own thing. Katherine and Gabriel will certainly draw attention if they are seen dancing at the prom. Thirty-six days. That leaves a lot of time until the end of the school year. Anything can happen between now and then. Excellent characterization. judi
