Ohh! Somehow I missed this one! Another masterpiece. I love October, too! I often wonder if that is why I chose to come to earth in October, hehe. I also love the animated images you find! So cool.

It's a lovely poetic tribute to that month late in the year-October- when chilly days and longer nights return and we prepare to move indoors while we wait for winter

I adore this charming poem and I love the month of October, too. Your poem describes the beauties of the month very well. There isn't anything I can think of, off-hand, that I don't like about the month. Good luck in the contest.

You've written an excellent poem for October,
Fall is my favorite time also, unfortunately
it also ushers in the beginning of winter.
Excellent meter and rhymes,
as well as the wonderful presentation.
Well done.
Good luck in the contest.

Hello Author,
You did a great job with the visual here, orange font on the black background is a lot of fun and easy on the eye.
I enjoyed the poem and the many images it evoked--the harvest moon, pumpkins, corn mazes, etc. It's not necessary to punctuate every line so I urge you to read the poem aloud. Punctuation should have a purpose. Ask yourself what the purpose of that comma or this period is.
This is a great contest entry and I wish you success.
Write on!

This is a really good poem for the contest, good luck. I also think you have captured great imagery for the month of October. The imagery is something we can all relate to. Can not think of a thing to improve. Good Job.

Your October poem spells out all the charms this month possesses: a change in colors and climate, harvested pumpkins, Halloween, and--in your case--an anniversary date. Although the rhythm isn't always consistent, I enjoyed this tribute to the tenth month. Rod
