It looks like an Irish Pub so that's a plus. They probably had music which is also a plus in my book. Strange place for a vacation but you could do worse. Good luck in the contest.

haha. Something good and bad about spending a lot of time in a tavern. If there are good friends you can be with, and games to play, and a few spirits to loosen you up - it's not a bad place to be. If ya pass out every night. Maybe not. Thanks for the nice poem and the artwork to go with it.

Love it, what a great thank you Haiku contest entry. Good luck. There ain't a dang thing that can be added to this, expect maybe a pint or two or three, some Jack Daniels, and more vacation days. Great Job.
