Hi, Ricky: This story touched my heart just like all the other stories of your dear son, Jason. I pray that God will heal your heart. I did not know you had two daughters and pray they are doing well.
I enjoyed reading about the dream you had long before becoming a 'family man'. I loved the stanza beginning with, 'so the children came along ...'.
Take good care; keep believing and trusting in God.

Thanks for reviewing this.
I actually have four remaining daughters.
Two more.
(stepdaughters)
Yes, and four beautiful grandchildren.
...
I've learned to handle this through journaling of course. And, I've done it hundreds upon thousands of times.
Yes, but the scar will never go away.
Ricky.

You are a blessed man, Ricky ... all those daughters and grandchildren. You are right. The scars stay with us. I am so glad you share with us as you write out what your heart is grieving.

May the memory of your dear son continue to bring you joy - for he is not gone forever as long as he lives in your mind. One day you will be reunited in God's Holy Heaven.

Thanks Sherry.
And, this is actually my second time doing a piece entitled "Believe"
I've learned to go forward with my life and not want to die anymore such as my wife unfortunately did.
