Aw. Ken and Analiese have finally confessed their love for each other. So is he showing up there? Is it safe? Will he take her to join the gathering at the hospital?
Hope Izard confesses to everything and that they can stop Alfanzi from manipulating any more police from within the jail.
Great job with this - it feels like the denouement of the book and things are about to be wrapped up soon.

The detectives seem to be getting some time off with the dogs. The only thing that smells better than that new car smell is the new boot smell. The worst you did was get a new pair of boots. It appears that Izard is on his last leg And maybe he's ready for a deathbed confession about Tony. Anna is out of the woods for now too.

The bad guys are up the creek to the big house to stand trial for murders and will get their just due. Thanksgiving is upon
will them soon.

Time for a breather. Things are coming together now. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a double wedding ceremony... Miles & Suzy, and Ken & Analiese. Tony's off to prison. Eugene's almost dead. Mike and Miles are tuckered out. Dogs have all been fed.
I wonder, though, what will happen to Analiese? Surely, she will be charged with something. And what about Camille? I'm thinking there should be some kind of family reunion.

Thank you for the lovely review and generous six star rating. I needed a breather in real life so it flowed naturally. My sister, Suzy, has Covid and at the same time is losing her husband to cancer. Hospice was just called in for him. Her comany has issued a vaccine mandate and she will lose her executive position if she doesn't comply. A heavy week for me.
Thank you for your kind and gracious spirit. Writing is a wonderful outlet for me especially in these times.

I'm sorry to hear that, Sally. Covid isn't taking a breather, always active, always stalking another victim. We just learned today that there was a Covid exposure at AJ's Restaurant on Sunday. We weren't there that day, but we've had breakfast a couple of times since. We're regulars. But we better stay away for a while. Infection can happen so easily.

This is a great chapter, Sally. It's nice to have some happy things going on after so much drama, and a love story is the best, after hearing that there is plenty of evidence to convict Alfanzi. Your hint of him still working from prison is a little disturbing though.
