Wow, you've certainly put volumes of wisdom in this one line. Loved the imagery, visuals, the subtle humor, artistic presentation and the artwork.

Good luck in the contest.

I enjoyed this entire posting...the artwork and the alliteration in a very interesting monostitch poem. I think it is a super entry in the One Line Poem contest and I wish you the best!

I know a few people who believe they have all the answers and things will always go their way.... until the ship sinks and you forgot the lifeboats. Great one-line poem. Good luck in the contest.

Hugs, Carol

Yes, you are so right. Reminds me of the Titanic. It was supposed to be unsinkable! I had a boyfriend when I was young who delighted in saying, "Only fools are positive." Good luck in the contest.

    Hi Mary,

Wow, I?ll have to jot that one down? "Only fools are positive" LOL. Love it!

My husband and I have running arguments on who is the pessimist and who the optimist in any given situation. We constantly switch off hahaha. But hoping for the best but planning for the worst wastes so much time even though it is the wise thing to do .

Loved your review, Mary. Thank you!

Take care and stay healthy and happy :))

Senyai,
This poem is a good bit of alliterative advice. Though I don't think anyone can avoid being foolhardy their whole lives. You can try your best to keep to the failsafe.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Joan

Excellent one line poem. I think these are really hard to do and make a statement and make sense.
Great alliteration in a fun and uplifting line.

Well done.
Blessings

I like the three "F"s of language, upbeat and optimistic, to follow the two foolhardy and foolproof is enough to lead to the conclusion of of failsafe, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
