Very good piece of work. It captures the essence of what you deem love to be. ( I also agree). I especially liked this couplet.
Love can be out-spoken, but can also thrive in gentle silence
Just being with a loved one in quietude is a cherish treasure

A nice entry for the contest, good luck. I like the way you make it more than just an individual, by bringing family and friends into it. I also like the
gentle quiet you bring to love as you are with someone. I have a poem here on site about losing that love to death, so the flip side of my quiet is your quiet. Nice Job.
