This is a great 5 7 5 for the political writing prompt. It has a great rhyme. The photo is awesome and compliments your words well. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks. The poem isn't doing well in the contest.

Correct senryu form, although I see no sign of the traditional wit/humour.
And for the record, I completely disagree - as do judges in more than sixty lawsuits who ruled that there was no malarkey in the presidential election.
And take the blame for what? getting a criminal out of the White House?

He didn't win the election fair and square.
-
And your evidence for that is that Trump says so? the man who told 30,000+ lies over four years?
Recounts, audits, court cases - the only fraud I've seen clear evidence of is two men who voted in the names of their dead mothers. And they were Republicans voting for Trump!
Six months on the Arizona audit and all they did was find more legitimate votes for Biden.
Give me one piece of real evidence.
-
I can't. My husband told me the election was rigged. He is well informed.
-
Wow!
I am well-informed and I tell you he's wrong.
We're not going to agree on this, but at least I have plenty of evidence to back up my position - not just someone told me...
Have a nice day.

You too.

Even though I disagree with you, this is a fine entry into this contest. American politics has become quite toxic with all the claims of election fraud, rigging, etc. I think Biden won fair and square, and I also think Trump won fair and square. Once a person understands how the electoral college works, it's easy to see how the American presidency can be won without getting the most votes such as in Trump's case.
Wishing you much luck in the voting booths. :))

He will not. He will continue to destroy America and blame everybody but himself. I enjoyed reading this political contest entry. I am sure you will take some its for it. Good luck with the contest.

Not doing well in the contest.
-
probably do to the content.

The content was fine.

I meant the subject. Some people believe Biden is perfect.
-
Fine

sorry, your poem is good

I'm not going to get in the politics of this poem; we have a president who does not believe in hatred. He does not turn one against the other like our former president did. No one is going to like every president that is elected.

Poor President Biden...after the fiasco of Trump I had great hopes for him. I truly feel he wanted to do his best - and fell short of glory. This is good in its form and adheres well to the requirements.

Nicely worded poem About Joe
Its sad we were dealt in to this game too
As the stakes get higher
We got thrown into the fire
God Bless America
Good luck in the contest

Hello,
Interesting senryu entry for the Political Senryu writing prompt contest. Good syllables count.
Senryu and haiku never rhyme. The connection between lines can be improved. The ending (satori) is supposed to be an aha! moment, yours is not. There's no flow.
Good luck

I'll drink to that! No one will ever convince me that the election was fair and square. How sad that our beautiful country is losing its luster. Good luck with the contest!

Don't get me going on Uncle Joe. It looks like you have him figured out.
Joe, I know you claim
That you are headed for fame,
But you're off your game.
