A very nice, thought-provoking write. I think, you might have put it in a wrong category - it is more story than poetry, but we can't change it ourselves even we want to, Tom is the only one who could do that
You are so right - people are leery of changes. Many are afraid of them. Because a change is gong to ruffle their set lives and they love their set, comfortable lives.
But changes are inevitable! Great creative imagery, thank you for sharing.
