and so sorry the city refused the people the right to
their church because of so water rights...but God has the
last call...just have faith...

I'm sure that was a disappointment for them after having spent time and money to build it. The churh I attended as a child had not water hookup. I think it may have had a sanitary outhouse out back but that was long ago. It is good there was a purpose for it after all.

Amen! The city had just completed a new water system in that area and wanted an exorbitant amount of money for the church to hook up. They had a well, but were not permitted to use it.
It was a disappointment, and a cause of puzzlement to them but they continued to serve the Lord nevertheless. Thanks for reviewing and God bless you, Dennis

You are right about that possibility. I enjoyed reading your little story. Too bad the original owner never were able to live there. I'm thrilled it is being used now. The idea of a church in it is super.

Hi Jan, it was always meant to be a church. They lived right across from it and held a Bible study in their home which grew. So it?s nice to see it used now for a church so many years later. Thanks for reviewing, and God bless you.

I do think God does things like that. We sow the seed but we may not be there for the harvest.

One of the things I have learned in 78 years of living is that adages are to be respected and paid attention to. The saying of "where the is a will, there is a way." is proven by your post. The will was for a church to built on that spot, it was built. The further will was for that church to be used. It is now being used. That is faith inspiring.

Powerful, sad, regretful, but also hopeful, all of these in just a few words ... Amazing job, truly. I also like the flow of it, it was fast paced but with a hint of stagnation, melancholy maybe.
