As a youngster, I often had nightmares. I seldom do now, but I have ridiculous dreams at times. I have had a few dreams like those you describe--vivid ones full of love and loved ones gone on. Your writing is descriptive and expressive.

Hi Jesse, you have shared some interesting points and questions in this piece. I always have vivid dreams, for no apparent reason, and they would probably have me certified!
I think it is important to express our feelings with honesty, but it must be done with respect. "Speak the truth in love" is a good verse to remember. That way people will trust us and our integrity. I would like others to do the same with me. There is then opportunity for me to evaluate and consider change if necessary, which leads to personal growth. Thank you for posting this thought-provoking piece.

When you say, "Speak the truth in love" I wonder, are you saying I am leaving out important details???
I am only sharing what I feel comfortable sharing and not what I told you and another friend in private.

Hi Jesse,
You have always been totally respectful, absolutely. And most people I. This site are as well. I was actually thinking of politicians and leaders in the wider public as well who are not always respectful of others. Please don?t worry. Your piece had wider application.
When people tell me on occasions a home truth, I try to evaluate it, and if they are right, then I try to be prepared to change, learn and grow. If they have respectfully pointed out my negatives then I know it is because they care enough to want me to change. If they have simply been mean it nasty then it usually doesn?t prompt change because it may have simply been said from malice not because they care about me. I probably didn?t explain myself very well. I can promise you that I gave utmost respect for you as a person and as a great source of encouragement. Hope that helps. Sorry for any misunderstanding. I hope you have a happy day. I am very tired at present, otherwise okay.

I'm definitely jealous of the lucid dreams, I very rarely dream at least not that I remember when I wake up. I used to have night terrors as a young man , and they used to be something else.
I'm not to sure I would want to know what or how people thought of me all the time. It could make you stop being you. Definitely a thought provoking piece Jesse..

Very interesting. I very seldom remember my dreams, but the other night, I had one that was very vivid, and I've not forgotten it. Thankfully, if I have nightmares, I don't know it. I kind of like the idea of people expressing themselves in some way like cats do. Some people are hard to read.

I am concerned about the vivid dreams. Are you taking some new medications? My mom tried CBD oil and that gave her vivid colored visions.
I don't think it's supposed to...
Anyway, I did like what you said: "How I look is not as important as how I come across to others and myself." We should never judge someone by their looks. But not everyone is capable of expressing themselves well verbally or otherwise. I agree if we had tails and whiskers and moving ears, we'd be so much more expressive.
I think that's why we are here on this site - sharing our writings in thoughts instead of being gauged by how we look by those we interact with in person.

Wow, Helen, this is so expressive and therapeutic in its own way, you can imagine, and I do not use CBD products at all, I never could handle those things!
I need my medication adjusted and I will see my Psychiatrist on Thursday, yet, I am already on the mend and life looks better every day!!!
I agree that this is why we are here to share our feelings and our thoughts.

I believe dreams are important for several reasons. I like that you reconnect with past individuals in some that you shared. Those people were influential to you in many ways. Your kitty sounds awesome. You are great about recognizing her moods. However, I would not like people to have a tail though you are right about expressing/knowing their feelings.

I believe dreams are important for several reasons. I like that you reconnect with past individuals in some that you shared. Those people were influential to you in many ways.
