Your story is always so intriguing. It is surprising how a teacher must fight for their rights even as a coach. When it comes to running it is not only great exercise but also helpful to know the stats! Glad that you had surgery; the break must have been bad.

Another of your always entertaining chapters, Barbara. We got a little more insight into Katherine's past and the fact that she is modest enough not to have mentioned her track achievements to Gabriel. I hope your wrist is on the road to recovery. You write more with one finger than most of us do with handsful of them, so don't rush it.

Gabriel to the rescue every time. Denying Katherine is his lady friend but always at her beck and call is not fooling anyone. But it's fun seeing him and Katherine constantly trying to hide it.

The chapters get more and more interesting, Barbara! It would appear nearly everyone sees Gabriel and Katharine as a couple now, even if they have known each other for only 36 days. lol I really enjoyed this chapter and I like the whole story. Great job.
I'm glad to hear you had your surgery sooner than expected. I was under the impression that in the US there is now waiting time for such things. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

I love how Gabriel stands up for Katherine and is always there to help out whenever and however he is needed. I loved how Paul called Katherine Gabriel's girlfriend and Gabriel tried to deny it, and Paul said, "want to bet." It is becoming obvious to just about everyone that the two care a great deal for each other. They are a natural fit and Katherine seems to be even more accepting that Gabriel. I believe that Gabriel does not dare to believe that he is near to closing the deal of becoming her main squeeze.
