It has been said and proven that a Dog can be: "Man's best friend". Dogs have saved the lives of many. Your photograph supports your contest submission honorably. Max appears faithfully at his post. If Max could tell us I wonder whether he would have chosen to be at his post or not? I enjoyed the reading.

What a nice turn of events, the guard you're talking about is a dog. Dogs can be just as loyal if not more than any soldier. They'll fight to the death to protect those he is guarding. Good luck with the contest.

Oh, my Lord! So Max was a dog! Not his policeman owner in full regalia (smile). How adorable. 10 stars for humor. What a beautiful dog, I love German shepherds. Excellent narrative with good creative imagery, visuals and a superb artwork.
