This is a nice Halloween poem. Your meter is coming around but still needs a little work. You're getting there. Nice list of things to do on Halloween.

This is a fun poem that I'm sure children will enjoy. You've included many things that people do on Halloween. I would make one change if it were mine. In the next to last stanza, I would change "stew" to "too." Good luck in the contest.

    Don't let it get you down, dear. There are a lot of outstanding poets here so the competition is stiff. There are times when I don't get a vote either.

Nice poem and true. I've never had a Halloween party. Today you can't do anything because of that stupid convid. But we can stay home and write. You did a good job and it's true. Thank you for sharing
