Although it isn't your picture it goes perfectly with your poem. Your poem is exactly what Louisiana is all year around lol great work. Many blessings to you

Hello DragonPoet, a timely poem. Your poem reads and flows well and asks questions we all have been thinking about. Of note:

Allergy season's sting
(It sting's indeed. Get the tissues out.)

Well chosen, inspirational photo. A pleasure to read. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

The weather here in Britain is very confusing. We are in the midst of a wet and windy storm. Last week was calm and spring like. I have never seen cottonwood. I would like to see your picture. linda.fisher12@aol.com

    Linda,
Thanks for reading and reviewing. The cottonwood seeds float in the spring breeze as little white fluff balls. They cause a lot of woe to allergy sufferers.

Yes, good question! One day I'm sitting on my porch in a short-sleeved muumuu reading; the next I'm inside bundled up. I can also relate to the rest of your poem, since I'm hit by SPRING allergies in mid- to late February, long before spring.

Very nice picture poem. You should do a contest.

Yes, mother nature has its own ways. I went from the south at 80 to up north at -1 in a couple hours...brrrr

Thanks for posting your work.

The author's words are interesting, clear and creative. I thought
about these words and how I was confused if it was winter or spring!
The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is great and compliments
these words.

I enjoyed your poem, especially the imagery you created. You captured the mood of the photo very well. Your pace was perfect here. Do you have more work on this site? I'll recommend you to my friends.

I think this picture is fine and perfect for your poem. I live in Michigan so all we have around here is lots and lots of snow. Where are these cottonwoods you mention in the writing? Nicely done.

Thanks for the review. The cottonwoods I writte about are all around my house in Minnesota. I live on the edge of a wild animalp reserve and protected wetland

Yes mother nature might get confused because of the climate change. Then things will change as the Lord is ready to return. Good job. Thanks for sharing. Good luck

I have seen the cottonwood snow, DP. You did a good job with your poem about it and the allergies that follow. I also like the lines about is it Winter or Spring. Yes, weather can be fickle. The picture is a good pairing.
Respectfully, Jan
