WOW! Since energy can neither be created nor destroyed, I do believe that we are always part of the universe and as you say so poetically, we ride the currents of time. I love this poem and I think I could spend hours studying the meaning of each line as we did in college. I think it's a brilliant piece .

I appreciate the principle expressed in your poem, but I don't believe we become part of that energy when the body dies. The energy exists within us now, it just migrates to reside within a different reality.

The ship we're on is destiny
The fare is free, we're all equal
Where we're headed there's no money
This current life has a sequel

My answer is when we eat we have energy
now when we pass away our energy is gone.
