Losing a child can make you very quickly emotionally stable so you better find the right ingredients?
If not you wind up six feet under like my wife Carolyn.

My father left us when I was one and my mother tried. But she wasn't big on affection. Now that I'm older I wonder what would be different if father would have stayed. What a wonderfully written poem. Best of luck with your writing!
