This is a good poem. I've had writers block in the past, too and sometimes it takes some time to get past it. At the moment, I'm struggling with the sequel to my novel. I seem to on the avoidance track. Good luck with the contest.

I too have had writer's block and I have several ways I deal with it...one, I listen to music, two, I lay down and try to relax, and three, I listen to others speak and write and pick up ideas from them! This is something that all writers go through from time to time...it is normal!
