I wondered if there was more to come for this poem as it seemed to end quite abruptly and in the middle of a thought. I liked your image and the thoughts you presented. Best wishes for your entry.

Has there been a last line left off? Forgive me please if I seem to make light of your very well written entry to a contest, but there seems to be an "up in the air " feel to this piece. Do have a look at it and see what needs to be done. It is well written and clearly covers all the guidelines required for the contest. Well done and Good Luck cheers Cass

I agree with its message and have just learned the hard way what you mean by mistakes happen! This is so true! I have just made a mistake on Fan Story with a friend who shall remain nameless!
I don't want to get into the details, suffice to say that I learned my lesson just now!

This is a great poem! The theme is so relatable, learning from our mistakes is the most important lesson. This reminds me of a Shell Silverstein poem in the best way! I loved every word of this poem! It was uplifting and beautifully written!
