What an excellent read and message within, it is most likely me but I thought one line missed the flow "there are many gaps in grains on the beach" I am not questioning the master-though I did stumble there, I may need some help with that little bit, very well presented poem****kahpot

This poem is very good. Of course, most of your poetry is pretty and usually brings some kind of message that helps lift the spirit up and reminds us of our Savior's love that he gives today, yesterday, and always tomorrow. Thanks for sharing this with us.

One day we will die. When your time is up, there is nothing you can do about it. While that is a simple fact, losing a loved one is never easy, no matter how much time you had to prepare or the years after the loss. The pain is there, just in the background for each soul that has gone before you. You are a great poet who should continue writing and creating new poems.

Hello Roy,
Your modified Ottava Rima is nicely done with the aabbccdd scheme.
That ticking clock is a fascinating theme for poets,
time simply is, perhaps an invention of mankind
to lend order to existence.
I agree that the pen sometimes has a mind of its own.
I've written many a poem that's gone far from original thought.
Beautiful art work choice.
Best wishes.
Robert

Roy, This is a very beautiful and very well written modified Ottava Rima poem you have penned about the ticking clock of time. You used great descriptive words and very interesting imagery that went well with your words. Thank you for sharing. Blessings, teri

On my, what a wonderful read! That first line really blew it out of the water, " Betwixt all the ticks and the tocks of a clock..." How smoothe and poetic, the words flow seamlessly to the melody of the octava Rima...flawless. Keep on allowing the Lord to use you in this way, simply astounding! Be blessed and good luck in your writing!!

Blessings my friend and thank you for this wonderful insight into, God; eternity, and his creation first enclosed and then released back into his presence. It has a surreal feel to it that I especially enjoyed.

Hello Roy,
In the light of Author Note, it's a nice piece of poetry meeting the desired norms, having impressive phraseology, enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and beautifully depicting its theme.
As a matter of fact, its each couplet is worth noting.
Remarkable Indeed!
[ It deserves to be honored with Six Stars. Would that it were around Sunday!]
