Hi Bill,
Methinks a serial killer is at large. He cuts the toes from his victims, and keeps them in a plastic sack. His fetish, to count them from time to time. Maybe he was such a poor Math student that his teacher made him take his socks off in front of the whole class, and use his toes as a counter... a personal abacus. You never know what will drive a serial killer to such lengths.
Gruesome subject! Or is it just my imagination?

I was expecting something quite different from the title. But I should have known that with your talent, imagination and sometimes teetering on the edge of the bizarre, that this would not be a poem of a kid counting toes.
It is a little wacky and gruesome, but I got to hand it to you. It gets attention and with Halloween approaching: fun.

The three in the middle do look like the same toe. Just different sizes.
I would hate to have my toes in someone's plastic sack. I don't know where you got that creepy picture but I have to didn' t have to amputate your own toes in order to do it. I notice you put a warning on this poem so this much be a real photograph of cut off toes. It is starting gto freak me out. You no rules poem had good rhyme. I hope you win.

Thank you,Beth. If you can stand to look at then photo again you'll notice the toenails are all similar. This leads me to believe they are fake toes.

I did notice that they looked dirty. I thought they might be from someone who didn't wear shoes. I'll look again.
