I love this Cogitator... To me you thoughts are perfectly formed and true on top of it... I absolutely love your line "We're "pointillists" drawing drawing our live... such a vivd description... it captivated me. di

This poem speaks a skewed view about living on this earth; we are bound for living eternal life finding family in each other; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR

I like the rhyme, but I'm a little lost when trying to figure out what you are getting at. The last stanza I really don't get. Give me a clue as to what is going on here.

Well, I'm a little confused as to what you are telling us. I think you're saying, there are many points of view and they can't all be right. Some are skewed. You are encouraging us to make the most of every moment and love the ones we are with. We can't go wrong doing that. Thanks for sharing.

"All we behold are points of view
From one point to another
We're pointillists drawing our lives
Finding family in each other"

This final stanza is extremely well written both in content and in style. Such a clever picturesque (sic) way of making your ... point.

I remind myself a thousand times a day that all my power is in the present moment.

Thanks for sharing

Stay safe and blessed

Julia

This is an interesting poem touching upon your point of view for eternal life and family. It rhymes well and does allow the reader to reflect on the points raised - existing forever, space, the realisation of family. I like the word - pointillists - and enjoyed reading this reflective piece. Thank you for sharing.

This poem, Skewed Point of View, suggests, to me, that the past and the afterlife are both subjects of which we have zero control. the present is our "gift" and we should open it with glee daily.
