Hi Sally, yeah, DNA tells it all. This is a great chapter, interesting, and well paced. I loved it. Anything forensic and law is just me. I do have a law degree, after all. Just found a minor thing:
I don't why I was so nervous = I don't know why I was so nervous all best Ulla xxx

Thank you for the super great review and star blast, dear Ulla. A six from my novelist friend means so much. I think the novel category is the hardest. It takes me a full week to write one chapter. Then comes the final edit proofing?. I don?t think many here understand the hard work put into a book. I?m glad that you do. :))

Absolutely, it takes me a full week to write a chapter as well. As you say then comes the editing. But on top of that comes further editing when the book has finished. I'm in the middle ofthat right

Yep. It's different for the novelist. Blessings for your writing week,

So much going on in this chapter. Who would have thought DNA from 1990 would come into play. That was early days for DNA, wasn't it? Amazing, your knowledge of forensics and law enforcement techniques. But they're closing in on Izard, hopefully.

Thank you for the wonderful review and stars. They?re able to solve older cases now with unmatched DNA from unsolved cases or expose additional crimes committed by those still behind bars. It also exonerates those who have been wrongly accused. This is powerful crime solving technology.

    Thank you for reading.

I once saw a documentary about three men who had spent years on death row before they were exonerated. I guess it's true - better one guilty man go free than a innocent convicted.

The lady with the badge. That Jackson no doubt has you spoiled rotten and that's a good thing. We are about to get this thing before the right people.

Hurrah for learning about good ole DNA... so many crimes can be solved. Great story and the pieces are coming together now. Great detective work!!

I posted the ending of my Mystery and Crime today. Time to start dreaming of another one.

Thank you for the lovely review and generous compliments. My eyesight is in decline and I?m reading and reviewing less and less. I?m sorry to have missed your book. It?s all I can do to write this on most days. Thankfully, much of my writing, poetry and short stories, was stored last year and saved here on FS and on my note pad. I?m pulling those out for contests and postings. One day at a time in all areas. :)

The pieces are gradually all coming together and now reaching back into the past and digging up the secrets that will help complete the picture. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter.

I really like this story. You're doing a good job writing it.

the two detectives set out on foot with Samson out in front. (I would omit the second 'out'. I don't think it's needed.)
