Hello Sal.

It seems like DNA is the key that opens a multitude of locks. You can't arrest the bad guy until you know who it is. And now they know who it is so they can begin breaking out the handcuffs. There's a lot of detail in this chapter Ann from week to week it gets harder to store all the information, Especially since I'm older than every speed limit in the world except for the autobahn in Germany. HAHAHAHA

80 mph is not strict on the Autobahn. My youngest leased a Mercedes Coup while he was there on business and opened it up. I couldn?t believe the speed. 130 mph! So, you?re good here for awhile. Thank you for staying with me on this fast road. ;)

Sending you my best today as always,
    Sal :))

When I lived in Germany over 50 years ago, my car was not allowed on the Autobahn. It didn't have enough power. HAHAHA There are minimum standards for vehicles to be there.

    You're welcome.

An interesting chapter - and great to see the link with Camille Jean-Baptiste so that this part may be explained. Your writing maintains the interest, keeps the reader wanting more ... and trying usually unsuccessfully ... to guess.
Thanks for a great read.
Wendy

This key chapter certainly will keep readers wanting to stay to see what happens next. First you remind us where Ana is currently safe. Then you show us your preparations for the Grand Jury hearing, and how you handle the reporters hoping to see you. Then you reveal what Dr. MacLavish has learned from the DNA, which links Eugene Izard to the original cold case of Camille Jean-Baptiste's long disappearance. For those of us who personally have known a woman who had been molested, we are not just reading a story, but eager to see justice done before any more harm is committed. Ending the chapter with Sanson on track guarantees the page will be turned.

As usual, the situations are realistic, the dialog is plausible, and the details keep us in each scene as though actually present.

Superb, and aptly illustrated.

This is another exciting chapter, Sally. We are waiting to hear Sally's testimony and now there is new evidence that leads us back to Camille Jean-Baptiste. There is a lot to keep in mind in this story. Well done.

OMG! It just keeps getting better. You are truly talented and gifted, my Blind Girl.
I got lost there for a minute because I came up with two Chapters '20s and was confused. I see now that this is the correct Chapter. How you know this much is still amazing to me. Everything is so accurate in the wording and the scenes. You know how to keep one's interest, and I am enjoying the sequence of events.
Keep on writing.
My best,
Marie

Olivia Smith is sure involved in facts which she does not remember. The story is getting complicated; I can't wait until we solve the case about the pictures/art work. Or did I miss when that got solved?

I am really enjoying how all of this is coming together. DNA really is a boon to crime fighters. It has proven so helpful solving cold case crimes and freeing people who were wrongly convicted. I enjoying the role of the dogs and the blind lady in solving these cases.

It Frank Izzard is also involved in a rape case from 1990, and Miles Jean-Baptist's sister knows something from that time. The case is becoming very technical now, I must admit I'm pretty ignorant of the prices, beautifully written Sally, blessings Roy
Question? Suzy gave me one final "blotting" ?

Thank you for the lovely review and generous compliments, Roy. This is a twisted plot but coming together chapter by chapter as we near the end.

?Blotting? refers to the lipstick Jackson just smeared when he kissed me. I forgot about all my male fans?. A girl thing, what can I say? Ask your girls what blotting the lips means. You might be surprised.

This is another fascinating chapter, complete with input from our K-9 wonder dogs! Samson is onto Izard, and the raccoon trio is onto Samson. I love your picture, for this chapter! Their little faces are adorable.

My suggestions for revisions:

I don't know why, but I'm a little confused about who they're referring to when they said, "Our deceased mother's name was Millie Jean-Baptiste ..."

Why am I mixed up? I know Camille/Olivia is still alive. Agent Fred Samuels is dead, and then there were the two guys who died in the car, in the water. I think Eugene may be dead, but I'm not sure. I can't remember who else could be dead.

One of the people I'm very glad is alive, is Russ DeWoody. I'm really enjoying his company, again!

I enjoyed your video, along with Jorge, who sends his congratulations for all of your great writing.

Thank you, dear one. I?m delighted you enjoyed this and sent the extra stars along. You kindness is overwhelming. ;))

Okay, Miles Jean-Baptiste is speaking to Detective Lembowsky about his deceased mother, Millie Jean-Baptiste. Camille is Miles? sister that had run away from Port-Au-Prince Haiti. She was a street performer and was assaulted behind one of the jazz clubs in New Orleans. In this chapter, we find out through the rape kit, she was using her mother?s name. She arrived in River Ridge pregnant and several months later married Lyle Henry, taking the name Olivia Smith Henry. We also learn in this chapter that she raped by Eugene and in that rape/assault, her memory left and has not returned fully, and her optic nerve was damaged. Olivia is now blind because of it.

The hardest part is that Olivia?s daughter, Danielle, is by Eugene, proved by the DNA. That?s why Miles is so concerned about telling her. She?s a happy and well adjusted person.

This is a full book, coming together in one chapter. I know it?s a lot. I like to write twisted plots with lots of characters. What can I say?

Sending you my best today as always, and happy anniversary to you and Jorge. Blessings always, and much love,

You're very welcome, Sally, my dear friend.
Wow, that's a lot of information, and a tangled web! Thank you for sorting it out. So Lyle and Camille's mother was never assaulted; Camille was just using her mother's name. I had forgotten about the baby! Danielle is Eugene's daughter, double-wow! I can understand why Lyle wouldn't want her to know that. I wouldn't want Eugene for a daddy, either.
It's sad that Olivia lost her vision in the same horrific crime. But she seems okay, now.
Thank you for your anniversary wishes! We still haven't properly celebrated with a dinner out, but are hoping to get there. God bless you!
    Love, Mary Kay xoxo
