What I enjoyed most was Thalia reminding John of the time when she first came to him after the passing of his wife. I felt a deeper meaning and reality in that section of the story. It struck a chord with me. I also loved the answer Thalia gave to John when he asked why he was saved and left here.
Awesome dialogue and great imagery.

If I have a muse, it's certainly not something I'm consciously aware of. The words just comes to me when I'm ready or they are ready.

Thank you for reading, your great comments, and all those stars! I do have a lady who speaks to me in dreams with stories, and sometimes she has me act out the story so I get all the emotions right.

The visit from a ghost is a killer. They say, the dead know everything, maybe that's why she was so perceptive (smile).
I often have trouble writing my first sentence on FanStory, but as long I am on that magic screen, the inspiration comes to me.

Its almost like she is an embodiment of the form that worked up the emotions in this writer, struggling at the keys. A mythical story, not supernatural, not eerie. The tone is comforting, but otherworldly. The words fit the subject well. There is a nice arc to the story. The pace is good.
