So good to see Russ DeWoody back even if for just a cameo. That's a nice way to keep your regular readers connecting the books! Glad that Analiese is safe. Hoping that Tony's plans backfires on him.

I was about the entertain a gator burger (I was about to?]

In this new chapter we see that Dr. Marie MacLavish will have plenty of evidence to examine for DNA at the cabin where Analiese had been. plus what Jean-Baptiste had found nearby, including Eugene's wad of chewing tobacco. Meanwhile, Tony Alfanzi realizes her assassination must have failed; so, in desperation, he gives Eugene's name to the warden of the prison where he is being held until trial for the murder of art curator, Duran Gibbons, and uninvolved Lonnie Hastings. Analiese is safe (at least for the moment) in Alabama with Russ DeWoody, en route to his Christmas tree farm. Clearly, more pages must be turned before justice prevails and all at risk can feel safe.

As usual, the situations are plausible, the dialog is realistic, and the details bring us into each scene as though we are there.

Superb.

Very good; kept my attention like a magnet. I'm getting more familiar with the characters and assume you live in the South as you have a very Southern ambiance going. Of course, gators are a clue. There was one sentence I didn't quite get; "Good, I was about the entertain . . ." Looking forward to the next installment. May I fan you?

Hello Sal.

Finding the house full of DNA is like finding a goldmine. They will certainly have all the evidence they need and now they need to connect the crimes to the evidence.

With Ana being in a "safe house" at this point she can begin to feel a little more comfortable about her future. It's an interesting situation because she is subject to being charged with crimes as well.

Oh, if it isn't Russ DeWoody! I'm so happy to see him again. This was yet another exciting chapter of your story, with many exciting developments. Here is my list of errors and suggestions:

Well, we got her hid out for now, and we might call this thing solved yet with the Ex in jail as he should be. Now, we play hid and seek. Good one, Sal. Thanks for sharing

An enjoyable chapter, with Alfanzi trying to weasel his way out of disaster of his own personal making. Thanks for the explanation of DeWoody in the notes. Hoping Analiese will be safe from her husband, even though she has done wrong. Looking forward to the next.

So, Tony Alfanzi is plotting to kill people, namely his wife for one, who is willing to testify against him, and Tony knows that if she is dead, the case could be lost for lack of evidence, mind you it is a darn good way of "getting off" with things, I think it's time to get the momentum of the story going Dear Sally. Well done, blessings Roy

Hi Sally, this is a terrific continuation to the story, but that scumbag, Tony Alfanzi, is not only lying, but now he's also trying to land Eugene in it. I sure hope Analiese will be safe where they're taking her. A great continuation. Ulla xxx
