Haha... yes, statistics can be made to tell us anything. Every nationality has the good, the bad, the ugly. When we are outnumbered or they look different we notice them more.
Like here in NZ a while ago there was a huge outcry about tourist Chinese drivers killing New Zealanders in road accidents (we all know the stereotype of Asians being crap drivers). But the heat died down when it was shown that way more kiwis were killing kiwis than foreigners were, it was just they were more visible as 'other'.
When I worked for the Department of Conservation we decided it was the Israelis who had the rudest manners when we were making bookings for backcountry huts... they seemed so entitled and arrogant.

Chuck's daughter, who works in car insurance, insists that Asians are notoriously bad drivers. So easy to stereotype a group "different" than oneself. In fact:

Statistics show that Asian drivers, as a group, are actually the safest on the roads in America, with a fatality rate at least three times lower than any other ethnic group.

There's those twisted statistics again. Maybe it shows they are less likely to feature as death casualties, but maybe they caused the accidents that killed others.

Really? That many are Chinese? That's so strange. Normally, there are not many Asians in the food pantry. It's interesting culturally because among Asians, Chinese are much more forthright and say what they mean. Koreans and Japanese have so many politeness requirements.

Our city has a large Chinese population.

Lol. Well, I bet they are like everyone else. Just don't include my 92-year-old dad in that list of drivers. And no, we hope he can't find the keys...

Haha. I appreciate your defending the Chinese people. I wonder in your city, maybe only 10% of people is Chinese. Yes. There are many different kinds of Chinese people out there. Generalization is stereo-typing.

For this, I give you a six-stars.
